Pending tax relief after a SIPP transfer

Options
Hello there,

I am looking to transfer out a SIPP after a final regular contribution - the tax relief isn’t collected for some weeks so I’m wondering what would happen if this was received post transfer - ought the ceding provider forward it on?

Also, does anyone have any experience of transferring away from HL ISA or SIPP - are any paper forms necessary?

SIPPs don't get closed on transfer.   Things like tax relief, distributions etc often arrive after the transfer and a mop up transfer is needed a few months later.   You normally need to request the ceding scheme send it on after its arrived.
