We are taking someone to Court over non payment of rent and bills over a significant length of time.
In our statements we both agreed to mediation however today, we received the Notice of Allocation to the Small Claims Track (Hearing) with no mention of mediation, just a court date.
Is this correct?

It can be, mediation isn't compulsory and may not be appropriate in all cases even if the parties say they are amenable to it1
