Sunlife insurance of Canada

Has anyone else had issues with this company? I have various policies with them and due to health issues have had to make a couple of claims lately.. I made a complaint as they missed a payment to me and the complaint every month was simply extended to the next and so on for a year. Their excuse was due to a new system in 2021 things were wrong and now complaints dept were hugely backlogged. I was then diagnosed with cancer so made a critical illness claim, they accepted it and said I was due two payouts as I had a double policy basically but nearly two months later retracted that and said they had made a mistake. I was very heavily insured so it was a lot of money. When I said I would go to ombudsman they withheld all payments! It’s now with the FCA and I’m still arguing with them, it’s been so draining and my mental health is in bits. I would like to know if anyone else has had similar experiences?
