Thank you for that idea. I will check it out now.0

It might be worth sending a PM to nigelbb who appears to be the person on this forum with the greatest understanding of the French pension system.1

OP I received your PM but it's better for all concerned if I reply to your post. I lived & worked in France for nearly fifteen years & claimed my French pensions at age 63 via the UK DWP.Which pension(s) were you receiving? As far as I know CARSAT Normandie deal with all overseas pensioners. The best resource is http://lassuranceretraite.fr You should create an account there. I only needed my French social security number. Within your account you can exchange secure messages with the pension administrators. Alternatively call + 33 9 71 10 39 60 The lines are open 08:-00-17:00 CETHere is the 'Contact us' link from the website that provides snail mail addresses & also details of how to complain & appeal etc Remember to send any letters tracked & signed for. https://www.lassuranceretraite.fr/portail-info/hors-menu/footer/contacts.html
Good luck!5 -
BTW Sorry to say but contacting a lawyer, the French embassy, your MP or DWP is a complete waste of time. There are procedures regarding complaints & appeals that you need to follow.3

The OP seems to have had such an account but apparently has been denied access - see previous page.
Thank you very much for your response. I have provided the certificat de vie several times in recent months ( signed and stamped by the local town council!) along with proof of residence and even copies of birth and marriage certificates. After a few weeks we enquire after progress and are asked for it all again. The frustrating thing is that I had received this for about four years before it stopped. I have tried phoning on several occasions to get cut off. The website is equally unhelpful and denies me access to my account0 -
Thank you for your ideas. In the past I have tried that number with no response , it is on my very lengthy list, but I will try it again on Monday. More recently I have been trying 33 970 660 660 which only resulted in my being cut off after selecting various options. The website is the one which I used to give me access to my account with no problem. Now denied. To complicate the scenario further, the state part of the pension has continued all this time unaffected. It is the mandatory professional part which has stopped and is obstructive via Agirc- Arrco0
