Furniture delivery slipping

We ordered some bedroom furniture from Furniture Village at the end of March. As their standard delivery was quoted as 8-10 week we asked if there was any chance it could be delivered in 3 - 5 week, the sales person checked and said that delivery in that time frame was possible, so we ordered the furniture on that understanding and the invoice shows delivery of 3 - 5 weeks.
Because we had not heard from the company to say when the goods were going to be delivered, we contacted them and they are now saying that they will let us know a delivery date some time during week commencing 13th May, the seventh week! However when we checked the order status online they are saying it will be delivered in the second week of June!
What are my rights if delivery slips to the later date?

If your contract has a "drop dead" deadline of five weeks, then cancel it as soon as that period elapses, because they will have breached it.

I suspect it doesn't, the 3-5 weeks is just a "best intention" timescale, so your best bet is to wait.  Are you going to be able to get alternative furniture before the second week of June if you cancel, anyway?
