Shower keeps going cold

Do have a look at heat pumps. Had a quote recently of ~£2700 from Octopus (subject to survey). If that had been available last year, I would have given it serious consideration over a gas boiler.calleyw said: But at 18 and half years old I think the boiler has done ok. just need to nurse it on for a while as I don't have the £3K for a replacement. Going to struggle to find the money to pay for the job as it is so can't afford the extra.
Any language construct that forces such insanity in this case should be abandoned without regrets. –

Still worth punching the numbers in on the Octopus web site. It will give you a ballpark figure to aim for when you can start saving.calleyw said:

Well it seems I was right with what is wrong with the boiler. Being done tuesday so will have to smell until then
and cost is £340. Could have been a lot worse.
