Morning all
Bright and sunny here looks to be a lovely day.
I did a covid test yesterday as I felt bad and it was positive 😩 I can honestly say Ive never felt so rough every part of my body aches and I’m still shivering and freezing cold, I am also throwing up everything I am eating so I’m just sticking to fluids for the moment, obviously I have cancelled my people today and probably will for the rest of the week.
Taff well done on helping the young fox rather that than it being in pain and being finished off by another predator xxx
Im off back to bed have good days all and take care xx8 -
RedRuby1231 - I thought Covid when you said how poorly you were yesterday. Rest up.

Morning all. Sunny here which is nice, it means I have a hard choice between garden sorting or indoors...No prizes for guesing there
I don't have masses planned though, general pottering and clucking over plants eaten by snails and slugs, the greenhouse seedling shuffle, putting the earth back in beds the foxes have dug out, a bit of grass removal and cutting the grass and some deadheading. The angle grinder is coming out too though, I need to get rid of a piece of concrete with rebar and just haven't got round to it yet, although the angle grinder has been looking at me for about a week on the kitchen top. There's nothing like trying to guilt yourself into doing something...[it's not working so far
] This is probably going to sound odd but I sometimes look around and think, you know what, I can do what I like in here, I don't have to wait for permission, or that you just don't see things that could be improved and then it hits you...weird...
Oh Ruby, that sounds very yuk, hope you get through it quickly! Gers, glad you got your nails sorted, it's always fun to try something but not if it's not practicalTA, well done on bargainous shopping! freezer full again?
Allie, fortitude for taking photos and uploading, editing, organising etc ...Izzy, fingers crossed for a dry day for you. .Florence, hope Mr F gets some results from his chats. And have you slowed down yet? Take care all, hope the weather is being nice to you all..

Morning all, it looks like another dry day here, hope it lasts. We had a lovely time with DGS over the weekend but boy as usual can he shift some food ! I also went clothes shopping with DD and DGD on Sunday and town was very busy, felt like it was on the run up to xmas when everyone is in panic mode.
This morning I have sorted my meds into my weekly box and I too thought it was Monday, I'll probably be a day behind all week now. I bought some new clothes which are hanging up in the office but I have to go through the wardrobe and take out the thicker winter stuff before they go in. I'll put the winter stuff away till later in the year but sadly it's May already so it won't be long before they're back out 😞
Mr Fix It managed to cut half the back lawn before the strimmer ran out of wire, typical. Now we'll have to get some more before it can be finished.
AA 🤞 for the c'van
RedRuby hope you get well soon. Look after yourself and put your feet up 🧡
Right off to tackle the wardrobe, if I don't return please send out a search party as I'll probably have gone straight through to Narnia 😂
Take care all
nan xx
Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently9 -
Ruby, that's pants. I actually wrote a line yesterday saying that I felt freezing both times when I started Covid but I deleted it because I didn't want to make you feel worse. If it's any consolation I seem to get over it more quickly than a lot of other people, let's hope that's the case for you.
Esther is asleep, she's not very well today poor lamb. Laura, Brian and Esben have all been ill over the weekend so it's unsurprising, hopefully Steve and I will be ok.
There's not a lot else to say, I'm waiting for a delivery of some plant stands for my growing collection of houseplants which I am managing to keep alive. I was inspired last year by one oof Laura's friends whose flat is full of beautiful plants. He works at the Chelsea Physic Garden so he is a lot better at it than me, plus he doesn't have to contend with a toddler in his life.
Hopefully Esther will stay asleep so that I can make a batch of granola (it's sweetened with dates) but L and B eat tons on their yoghurt, last time the batch I made only lasted a week and it had loads of nuts and seeds in it so I was a bit cross.
Other than that I want to sew the patches I have cut out and ready to go.
Have a good day.9 -
