Good morning Gers. You just beat me to it!Good morning all. After a very wet day yesterday the rest of this week is looking good and a bit warmer too. Spring has sprung at last! Off for a walk with my ex colleague from work today at the local park . Then off to a garden centre to get some lavender for the garden and the bees. Bought some tortellini at the weekend so will have that for dinner with a tomato and marscapone sauce so will pop in the supermarket on the way back to get some garlic bread to go with it as I forgot it when I did a big shop on Friday.Hope everyone has a good day today x9

Morning. Just watching a film on Netflix before work. Had marmite on toast for breakfast. Looks cloudy but warm outside. Not checked the weather yet.11

All dressed and ready for the day. I'm invigilating this morning - N5 English - so should be straightforward. At my nail appointment yesterday I had then shortened, whilst I really liked the longer length that they had grown into I just couldn't function with them. Typing properly was almost impossible (I ended up pecking), getting dressed was harder, generally a real pain. Seeing so many people with long nails, especially on TV, makes me wonder how they manage. Anyway I'm much happier now.Today may warm up, for now it's on the cool side of comfort. I'm taking a jacket with me in case the promised sun doesn't arrive.Have a good day folks, hugs to the poorlies.10

Morning All
Damp this morning but not raining yet. Yesterday turned out ok until about 6 o'clock when we had biblical rain for half an hour then the sun came out! I had planted out the sweet peas at home and some bean seeds at the allotment so they've probably been washed away.
Bought a few things when I was out yesterday, some new swimwear but that's going back along with a top. Will have to try harder!
Back to work today but a short week now so that's good, we're still waiting to hear how many hours are to go on the clerical side - the council certainly don't hurry.
Hope everyone is well or recovering. Take care. XX9 -
Morning folks and thanks GERS. Cloudy but mild here. Yesterday they got it wrong. The promised heavy rain and thunderstorms didn't happen for us, but it did about 10 miles away when roads were flooded! We escaped with a quick downpour, then drizzle for a bit, around tea-time.
Went shopping about 6 pm and what a good time to go! It was the quietest I have ever seen it. I wonder if most folk were expecting it to be Sunday opening due to the BH. I even nabbed some good reductions.
No plans today but ignoring the wilderness at the front might have gone on long enough and a bit of weed pulling might happen - or it might not!
Have a good day folks if you can and (HUGS) for our poorlies, sad or lonely. Take care all, stay safe xx"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"10 -
Morning all.
Heard that one of our Church members was rushed to a London hospital.

Good morning all
Thank you for the start @Gers
Usual BH weather yesterday, rained most of the day.
Today is set to be dry so I've no excuses not to get into the garden. So many things needed to be done I don't know where to start. Maybe another cup of tea whilst I decide.
Take care

Today will be the day I think it’s Monday all day - after thinking it was Sunday again all day yesterday!Had a quieter day with my stubbed finger - finished up strapping it to the adjacent one which was much more comfortable and it’s much better and less swollen today. The van is in for repair and MOT retest, 🤞!Managed to do plenty of sewing yesterday which now means I have loads of new items for my online shop so today will be taking some photos and editing those ready along with packing a few things I sold over the weekend.Might take B-dog for a walk in the forest - it’s not his favourite walk as he doesn’t like the wind through the trees (he’s a bit of a wimp) but it seems stiller today so should be ok.Take care all

Morning everyone thanks for the start GERS pleased you are happier with your nails my nails are shocking they get to a certain length and just snap then again now I’m not working as much I should try looking after them a bit more I’ve got some nail strengthener somewhere. I’m the worlds worst sleeper but I was still awake at 5 this morning then managed to nod off for a hour the night before I managed to wake up every couple of hours I’m very jealous of the little dog whose lying next to me now after been for a walk snoozing. I must get cracking I’m off to a cleaning job soon it’s dull and grey up to now we had a terrific pour down yesterday afternoon for about an hour but it’s supposed to be a bit dryer and warmer here fingers crossed. Thinking of all the poorlies hugs to those that need them have a good day everyone whatever you are doing10

Morning all. Dry but a bit dull here atm.
I've had a busy weekend. Dry and sunny on Saturday at Rochester; similar on Sunday in the garden for my daughter's birthday but the rain poured down on us yesterday in the Aylesbury area when we were dancing so things had to be abandoned. Today I'm off down to Watford to play at a refugee weekly get together. One of the Morris men is a volunteer and he's keen for us to show and teach them a few dances.
We're still nibbling on leftover food from Sunday but I've taken a small chicken casserole out of the freezer to have tonight.
For some strange reason I feel the urge to tackle some of the ironing this morning, so might make a move and get started.
Have a good day all!11
