The Jawbone really is as good as they claim. In my Land Rover I have to shout to talk to my front seat passenger at 50mph, but I can hold a conversation on the phone with the Jawbone.0 -

I would swear by the JAbra BT500v. Longer battery life than previous models in the range, very light and fits nicely around the ear. Sound quality is good and it also has the advantage of charging from the computer's usb port.
The jawbone is good, and does indeed work well to cancel background noise and boost your own speaking volume in noisy areas. However, it does not function as well in windy conditions, as a friend and I have found during a great deal of testing. For an example of the noise cancelling, we were able to hear each other perfectly even when standing on a busy London building site with drills hammering all around us.
I've never liked the Moto's myself, Nokia is adequate but nothing special, Ericsson's are OK but again not as techie as the JAwbone.
Jabra is quite cheap at £30, Jawbone will set you back around £60.
