Shaving off the years at Sleepy Hollow

  • Well another car bites the dust. Savings hadn't recovered thanks to car repair costs & got a whole 2 months from the runaround despite it having a years mot.

My dad has very kindly given me sole use of his car until I can gather together a decent deposit for something much newer.

Still cracking on with the mortgage overpayments, Christmas is going to plan so far & mortgage rates look like they're starting to improve!! We're due for renewal in July and considering a 5 year fix this time depending on rates!

  • Plodding along and chipping away at the mortgage. Our deal is up for renewal soon so keeping a close eye on changes.

General savings still pretty dire but holiday savings are going well. Still have to live a little! Had some ideas for further decorating in the house but we're a long way off that! Still the kids are little so I'm in no hurry to have a show home!
