Received an offer on an item early this morning.
Responded with counter offer a few £ higher, stating I could post it off today (Saturday) AM. 
Buyer accepted and paid. 

Printed label via eBay and went to PO to post. 
Posted at 10:52AM via Tracked24 (which is what buyer paid for).

I don't see how I could get any quicker?

Anyways, got back from PO to receive this:

I responded stating I said I would post today, and the item is already posted as promised.
Sent an image of the receipt.
I even apologised for any confusion!

I posted within 45 mins of purchase/payment via Tracked24. What could I have done any different?

well, you've done your bit as requested by the buyer. so thats all you can do. if it turns nasty report it to ebay and let them sort it.

i would tell them just that,  you have done all you can, buyer has probably taken offense from ebays est delivery

Yup you're spot on - eBay's estimated delivery is Weds-Fri!
Just told the buyer this, and to ignore it as it's been posted today via Tracked24 regardless. Hopefully the buyer will cheer up a little upon receiving the item!

I think we're back to people wanting Amazon Prime service from sellers on ebay- I bought something from Amazon yesterday late afternoon which is due before 7pm tonight- and some people are not bright enough to realise we aren't all Amazon.

I think the Bank Holiday has messed with Ebay's clocks...  Bought 2 items from 2 sellers both advertised as Tracked 48h..

Purchased just after 4pm Tuesday 30th,  Ebays estimated delivery Wednesday to Friday.  I would have been really happy with
Friday but not counting on them arriving because post around here seems really slow and has been for a while.

I didn't even think to check what their timeframe for posting was and happy they both arrived today.

Not sure how they were supposed to deliver on Wednesday even if they lived in a post office attached to a sorting office?
