Strange washing machine / tumble dryer marks

Hi All,
We've recently started getting these marks appear on our lighter clothes.
Any idea what they are?
We use a washing machine and a tumble dryer. Both are less than 3 years old.
Thanks

First thing is to narrow the problem down to the washing machine or the tumble dryer.
Now the weather has improved you can hang the washing outside to dry and see if it still happens.
In the meantime have you put the washing machine through a cleaning cycle recently? High temperature, no clothes in it and powder detergent/soda crystals?0 -
I wipe round and dry the seal of my washing machine after every use, including the tiny gap between the seal and the drum. I also leave the door and powder drawer open after use to dry out. If you dont do this mould can build up around the seal and drum and cause marks on clothes.0
