Help to save

My help to save closed at the end of April, it’s showing a nil balance however, I haven’t had any funds transferred to my bank account. 

I made sure the bank details were correct before it closed. Does anyone know how long it takes before your account is credited with the money pls?

Have you checked with the provider to confirm where the balance was transferred?

It takes 10 days more or less

But there's actually no need to keep any money in the account after making the final deposit (for anyone else approaching the maturity date). You can actually withdraw all the money on the day after the final deposit is paid in, then you're only waiting for the final bonus.

My HTS account states my final bonus will be paid by 14th September (closes in August) so may take a week or so - may be slightly longer due to Bank Holiday. 

@Petriix thanks for that, I had assumed that the balance would be paid out with the bonus

I read up on this last night after seeing this comment, HTS will transfer your bonus and any savings to your nominated accounted by the 14th day of the following month that your account closes

But you *can* log in and move the balance yourself so that you don't need to wait until they pay it back to you. Then you can earn interest on it elsewhere or spend it or whatever...

The bonus is paid on what the maximum balance was, not on what's left at maturity.

Next month, the 1st of June, I will deposit my ladt £50. After 4 years my account will be completed and will be matured at the end of June. So am I entitled to withdraw the money even on June 2nd and then wait for July to have my bonus paid in my bank account?
