Terms and Conditions

• The Organiser
  • The organiser of this competition is Loganair. 
  • The competition runs from Monday 29 April and will end on at midnight on Sunday 12 May 2024.
  • The prize winner will be responsible for ensuring that they have read, understood and accepted the privacy policy and terms and conditions of the competition.

• Entry Criteria

   
  • By entering this competition, entries give permission for their details to be shared between Loganair and Promote Shetland and give permission to receive marketing materials via email from Loganair and Promote Shetland. 
  • The prize-winner must be a UK resident and aged 18 years or over at the time of entry 
  • The prize-winner must be the one travelling and Loganair have the right to ask for ID and proof of name 
  • The entrant (therefore potential winner) accepts Loganair will direct message them via email to inform them of their winning entry.
  • Winners will be picked at random, and the winner will be notified by Tuesday 14 May via email. 
  • One entry per email address.  
  • The competition is not open to Loganair staff or third-party suppliers 
• The Prize

  The prize winner is responsible for making arrangements with each vendor. 

  Flights 

  • A pair of return flights to Shetland from Edinburgh with Loganair. 
  • The winner and their travel companion must travel together. 
  • Prize winner flights are strictly subject to availability. 
  • Travel is only permitted on Loganair operated flights between Edinburgh and Sumburgh – codeshare services not permitted. 
  • Flight vouchers are valid for 12 months 
  • Loganair requires a minimum of 7 days’ notice to process your request. 
  • Vouchers are non-transferable and not redeemable for cash in whole or in part. 
  • Name changes, extensions or route changes are not permitted. 
  • Liability with regards to travel documentation rests solely with the prize winner. 
  • Travel is subject to Loganair’s standard conditions of carriage prevailing at the time of travel. 
  • Prize winners should be flexible with choice of flights/dates and prize winner seats are subject to availability 

  Accommodation

  • A two night B&B stay for 2 people at Lerwick Hotel. 
  • Accommodation comprises one double or one twin room.
  • Subject to availability.

  The Mousa Boat

  • A return daytime sailing for 2 people with The Mousa Boat.
  • Sailing departs from Sandsayre Pier, Sandwick, to the island of Mousa.
  • Subject to availability.
  • All sailings are weather dependent.

  Shetland Seabird Tours - The Noss Boat

  • 2 tickets for Shetland Seabird Tours - The Noss Boat.
  • A wildlife watching trip for two people, departing from Lerwick Harbour. 
  • Subject to availability.

  Car Hire 

  • Hire of one car for 24 hours from Bolt Car Hire. 
  • Hire car will be 'group C' size, either in manual or automatic.
  • The driver must be over 21, and must have held a full driving licence for at least one year. 
  • Subject to availability.

  Parking Access and Fast Track Security @ Edinburgh Airport 

  • Two Edinburgh Airport fastTRACK security passes to be used on day of the Loganair Shetland flight departure to be used by 31st of December 2024
  • One car parking space at the Edinburgh Airport official car park for the duration of the trip to Shetland to be used by 31st of December 2024.  
  • Maximum stay time of three weeks.

  Plaza Premium Lounge Access @ Edinburgh Airport

  • 2 passes into the Plaza Premium Lounge at Edinburgh Airport. 
  • Passes must be redeemed by 31st of December 2024.
  • In case of dispute, Plaza Premium Group and Plaza Premium Lounge Management Limited reserve the right to make the final decision.
