O/S Daily Thursday 2nd May 2024

Morning all.

Late on today and haven't really got going yet this morning.

Yesterday I picked up a pack of 4 bone in, skin on, large chicken legs from the Larder but they need to be used today so I'm going to roast two for our dinner tonight and then put the other two in the slow cooker with some veg and chicken stock and see what they look like at the end of the day. They will be headed for the freezer as either casserole or soup.

I'm off down to Rochester tomorrow to dance/play at the Sweeps Festival so DH and I are going out for lunch before I leave. Seeing as it's a BH the traffic generally might be slow and I've arranged to visit some cousins in Strood for a cuppa around 4pm so hope I'm not delayed. 

I see that NMPH (might have got the initials wrong) hasn't been on since she started the thread on 15 March so I hope nothing bad has happened.

Morning from wet Devon ( and apparently stormy last night!)
Trip down was good and uneventful.
Staying in beautiful country inn near Dartmoor

Weather should improve tomorrow so will be out and about

Good morning, I’m a former member here.
It’s a cloudy but warm here but we have a yellow weather warning for storms later on this afternoon. For me it’s going to be a “productive day “ just doing jobs around the house. OH took my living room curtains down and put them in the machine so now they are on the line. In the machine now it’s to dog bedding as it’s a bit wiffy.
