Damp in property I'm selling - got my own report - advice please

    @FreeBear, it's just a blank wall. no radiator and just one plug socket. It's only about 70cm high as well. We have a wooden ledge inside of the windows. There's room for 35mm insulation too.

    You want to be looking at 50mm of Celotex or 100mm of woodfibre at a minimum. More is better :)
    Woodfibre or cork with a lime finish would be preferable to PUR/PIR or EPS/XPS as it is breathable (always a good idea with solid walls). Or you could go with Aerogel at 35mm thick, but it would be darned expensive. To be honest, Aerogel isn't that much more effective than PIR/PUR (0.0195W/mK compared to 0.022W/mK for PIR).
