How to export MSG from Thunderbird

Select message. With cursor over message hold down left mouse button and drag cursor to desktop/suitable folder in OS file browser. Release mouse button. Message now in place you dragged it to.There will be a save as function as well but without Thunderbird in front of me I'm not sure where it is.0

Right click on the message and there is a plethora of options, near the bottom is "save as" and you can save it where you like as an eml, txt or html.You can copy to a folder or move to a folder, turn it into an event etc.I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....
