In 1999, due to a fire at the distillery, different aged rums were mixed together while being moved for safety reasons. The result was so unique and flavourful that it led to the creation of Chairman's Reserve, now celebrated for its rich blend and smooth character, embodying the resilient and innovative spirit of Saint Lucian rum craftsmanship.
