Parking appeal against parkingeye / lee valley ice centre

@Coupon-mad @Gr1pr @KeithP Hello again. I have received a dcbl notice of debt recovery for this parking ticket. I am unsure what to do now. It is from "Direct collection bailiffs ltd" and states I have two weeks to pay £170.
My partner updated her driving license 1 week ago and this letter has been sent to our current address. I believe I emailed lee valley asking them to waive it but they couldn't. I also sent ParkingEye this letter, have proof of postage and have received no response.
Could you please give me some advice for what I should do?0 -
Also, checked the signature. They received this on the 7th May this year.0

No updates about these sort of threatograms please. Save us for when we are needed!
The only thing the recipient must do is confirm which address is current and tell them to 'erase the old address'.
Don't assume that DCB Legal will use the new address their mates have traced. I assume that there are 2 addresses held by the scammers right now. That MUST be stopped.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

@Coupon-mad realised I made a mistake with this, apologies. It is another fine I thought had disappeared. I have managed to get a lot of these waived so far, presumably the lee valley one too. So thank you for your help.
This one is actually a ticket I threw away after reading a thread saying "ignore it, throw it away". I now realise that was probably a pre-2015 thread. I remember being convinced
This DCBL letter has the parking charge notice number on it. However, when I put it into TPS' website with my car reg it does not find anything.
Can I:
- appeal to the landowner at this stage?
- contest it as the notice doesn't exist on TPS' website?0 -
No. My advice has not changed. If they are holding two addresses, get one erased.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Updating a driving licence is irrelevant, just ensure that the V5C log book is up to date, they cannot keep accessing the DVLA database for details on old cases, its a one shot deal, checking the V5c database, not the driving licence database ( 2 different animals, chalk and cheese, not the same. )
plus email the DPO at Parking Eye with a data rectification notice and they MUST ERASE the old address and use only the current address for the service of papers going forward
Everything needs to arrive at the correct address
But ignore debt recovery letters
Do not ignore a Letter of Claim or a court claim2
