NEXT - non delivery of wine gift

first post and i'm hoping this is in the right place, apologies if not
i placed an order on 7.12.07 with next, for 2 cases of wine to be delivered to separate addresses as gifts on 21.12.07.
i spoke to one of the recipients today and he never got his wine:eek: . i rang next and they checked and whilst the other case had been delivered, my friend's case never left the warehouse. the CS lady only offered to re-order the wine for me, in a miff i told her to forget it.
i have placed another order with another company but it will only be delivered in early january due to the festive period
i am mortified
