Good morning, it's a dry start here and quite bright, hope it stays that way.
Yesterday, every bit of glass in the house was cleaned, and I'm ashamed to see how much better it looks! Must keep it up.
I sorted through some clothes as well and now I've got a bag for the cs, so I'll take that today.
Hope everyone is ok and has good day today, take care folks.

Morning All
Thanks for the start Scarlet, well done on the glass cleaning - do you want to come here?
Productive day yesterday, lots of cleaning, did some shopping and pottered about in the garden. Also visited a little local plant nursery and bought plants for the hanging baskets that are all potted up and in the greenhouse waiting for some better weather to put them out.
Washing dried well too, the bedding went back on the bed once it was dry and I slept really well.
Great amount raised at your sale Florence.
It's rained overnight but bright at the moment although I think it's to rain for most of the day.
Hope everyone is well, take care. XX10 -

Looking forward to getting my new one in June.Definitely a day for being out in the garden today. Not sure what's for dinner yet, will have to have a rummage in the freezer to see what takes my fancy.Have a good day everyone x10

Good morning all
Thank you for the start @ScarletRibbons
Bright and sunny out, still cold but hopefully will warm up later.
Planted a few different seeds earlier but most haven't germinated. Not sure if it's too cold.
Not sure what I'll be doing today, probably not a lot.
Take careIf you walk at night no-one will see you cry.11 -

I’m the same as you SO I don’t know what I will be doing the rest of the day but I don’t think it will be a lot . Thinking of all the poorlies hugs to those that need them have a good day everyone whatever you are doing9

Morning folks and thanks SCARLET. And put me on the list after Camelot please. I'm sure the window cleaner must think he is wasting his time when the insides get so neglected. They are such big windows I get overfaced just looking at them!
It's a sunny start here too, wonder if it will last. I am away to pick up my new specs this morning, fingers crossed they are a better fit than my current ones. It's a two bus trip each way so it will take up all morning getting there and back. Then later, when DS finishes work, it's the grocery shop postponed from yesterday. I don't need much, it's mostly a top up of f & v and fridge bits.
Have a good day folks if you can and ((HUGS)) for our poorlies, sad or lonely. I hope today's scan goes well NAN. Take care all, be safe xx"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"10 -
Hi everyone,
We're going home today. The weather has been lovely, sunny but chilly while it's been very wet at home.
We've had a decadent time, lunch out every day with snacky suppers. We had some lovely meals, including lunch at Le Bistro in Skipton TA. Steve had a pork belly baguette to die for. It's probably a bit dearer than some of the pubs but worth it.
My stomach behaved itself, even when I risked a roast beef dinner yesterday so that is pleasing.
We also got on with some jobs, refreshing paintwork and sorting and replenishing the store cupboard etc. Hopefully we'll be able to come up again soon.
Have a good day.10 -

Shock horror ! It’s actually sunny 😳 tomorrow is meant to be the same and then back to rain for the rest of the week, oh well we shall enjoy it while it’s here.
Got an email from Robs mum last night he has got an upset tummy again so won’t be here today or tomorrow, it’s funny he never gets an upset tummy when with me so it must be what he is eating at home, she is not quick enough to get to the fridge before him and he will eat whatever he can get his hands on including raw sausages and bacon 🤢 I’ve told her to get a fridge lock but she won’t, poor bloke it’s not fair.
Dinner tonight will be some cold roast beef from yesterday with either mash or chips will see what we fancy later. House is tidy and I have a wash on it can be hung out today before I go out.
We might visit a garden centre today and have a look around and get a cuppa, there is a farm shop on the way back where I will stop and see if they have any asparagus yet, it’s a tad early but I might be in luck.
Nan hope all goes well with the scan today, I had a nuclear one and found it much easier than the mri xxx
Have good days all and take care xx9 -
Morning all - thanks for starting us off Scarlet. After a few days of lovely dry weather we're back to rain and cloud.Yesterday I eventually went out to take away a bag of rubbish and do a little shopping. Not the most productive of days though I contacted my gardener and arranged for her to come later this week. Her sore hands have had a chance to heal so she's raring to go.I rescued another bee, this one had markings which I hadn't seen before. A very reddish-brown head end and black body. My iPhone identified it as a tree bumblebee (Bombus hypnorum) which took me down a long and deep rabbit hole. Fascinating creatures. This morning I have my usual Monday exercise class, I need to limber up first which means having a second cup of coffee.Everyone has been so busy! I hope that you all have a great day.9

Morning! Glorious and sunny today after the hammering down on Saturday and the grey weather yesterday. I drove ot oxford yesterday to pick something up from fbmp and stopped off at a massie gc and farm shop on the way back. Wow, talk about expensive. Yes, i bought three plants We might have a builder coming round today or tomorrow to look at what we want done, OH drinks in a local club and apparently it's full of tradesmen, something to remember for the future. No plans today, garden potter and play with new toys. The garden could do with a tidy up and I may cut the grass but I deifnitely need to sort out where I'm growing what and then the supports for that. OH has changed his shifts due to shortage of people so he's on lates for three weeks. Maybe we can come up with some sort of schedule for things now.Ruby/Rosy, yorkshires with everything? Of course! I never understood why they were supposed ot be confined to beef. Rosy, hope your sone is all good without his card, oops. Florence, maybe you're tired because you coud slow down a little bit? Is there no delegation at your place? Gers, sounds really interesting, I've only made kimchi but I think I'd like a go at some other stuff. I see in the foraging group on fb that they make fermented wild garlic flowerhead buds, sounds delicious. I did laugh at your limdering coffee! Mine would have to be tea with half a sugar in the first two cups of the day Scarlet, happy sofa choosing! Izzy, my MIL gets those regularly too, with the looking like a black eye and streaming eye, not sure what she did but they seem to have stopped recently. I'll ask her. Chris, happy new car! Nanny, hope it all goes quickly today, fingers and toeses crossed and stuff. WL, glad the celebration went well, occasionally I wonder what I would think and I would hope that people remembered me very briefly with fondess at least. But no gravestones thanks, just a quick burn for me and a scatter so there's nothing of me left anywhere. I always feel really say when i go to the cemetery and see all the hundred odd years old graves falling over and neglected. Ruby, poor Rob..Hows your mother doing with her nephew? So annoying to see someone taken advantage of. snoozer, glad you had a nice time. bella, i too thought of crisps, nik naks...Take care all, I' off for the second cup of tea , I will think of Gers limbering upShampoo? No thanks, I'll have real poo...8
