Chromebook question

I am a Windows person so asking on behalf of a friend about Chromebooks of which I have very limited knowledge
They take lots of photos on their Android smartphone which are stored automatically in Google photos
They want a laptop-type device with a keyboard and screen to be able to sort through these photos and put them into folders and to delete unnecessary ones etc
My thinking that a Chromebook would be the best thing - they simply would need to log on to Google photos on their Chromebook and get going
Any recommendations for a Chromebook would be greatfully accepted

I prefer Chromebooks anyway but on any laptop or PC they will be able to log into photos.google.com and access their photos.1

thanks I assume though you can download the google photos app from the google play store to the chromebook and access your photos that way ?0

App or website, they are essentially the same thing. Just as easy to do it on a windows device as a Chromebook.
Chromebooks can be cheap, which is about the only reason to choose one over doing it on a Windows device.1 -
I have no problem using google photos on the chromebook
I have found chromebooks useful as have been able to loan them to members of the family who just login to their google account with it. I also have one I leave in my weekend residence - easier than trundling back and forth with a laptop - I find it more secure as there is nothing stored on the hard disk etc1
