I have noted that the energy usage part of the BG website seems to have gone off the rails. It has been fine for me for the last few months but this weekend the gas usage cost (not kWh) is out of whack. The unit cost per kWh seems to be being based on around 27p rather than the correct tariff unit cost of 5.95p.
My bill was last made up at the end of January with the right unit costs for the time but if I now go back on website to look at passed usage and cost all the gas costs are wrong.

My last bill was up to 24th March based on actual....and info on bill matched app.... bug definatky looks like something wrong now especially the gas as the app figures are way way more.... I'm keeping my fingers crossed problem is at their side.0

Me - Yes I am aware of that regarding the standing charge. Was your earlier response confirming that the unit pricing for the calculation is miles off. The website covers up to the 28th (yesterday) so the calculation should be (28 x 30.321) + (866.16 x 5.669)BG - Perfect that is the correct calculations K***.
Me - So if I run those numbers I get.....Me - £57.59 the website says over £300!BG - Can you please help me with the Bill durations you are referring to?
Me - Not bill just looking at the energy usage in the app. I note is has also messed up all the historic charges for gas.
BG - Okay, these might be the issues with the Energy usage on the app.BG - We are very sorry that the My Energy Service currently isn't working for you as it could. This service is currently experiencing occasional data issues that are impacting some customers. This is under investigation, and we continue to try and get this service working in the way we expect it to for you.
Me - Okay that's fine as long as it works itself out.BG - Yeah rest assured K*** this will get sorted.
