Self employed tutor - business car insurance required?

thank you for your response.  I have contact the AA to upgrade my car insurance 5 times now and each time they have said we will get back to you.  But they never do.  I contacted them last Thursday and nobody has got back to me.  I will never be transporting students now and just travel to different places of work.  Is it worth cancelling my car insurance and starting from scratch with the appropriate policy as i'm fed up with hanging on in the hope that they will comply with my request.  The last conversation I told them that I only drive a few hundred miles in the year to work and they promised that an underwriter would contact me.  They still have not.
