Water leaking, Wall or roof? help me find it

We first noticed some yellow stains on the side of the wall near the ceiling a year or to ago, at first we didn't think much and since Nov it got worst.
We got 3 roofers who said it wasn't a roof problem and they actually went up to look at the roof. I went into the attic and there was was no water when it was raining heavily
We thought it was an issue with the lime mortar which for some builds can be an issue, so we got a brick repointer to remove and replace the mortar in dec 24 but it has started to leak since last night when it was heavy rain. Note it has rained the same if not more over the last few months and no issues
The area of leaking is as per photos.
What we didn't do is remove the slate above the window which i think in hindsight could be seeping water behind it. Thoughts please... (Excuse the tape, trying to guide the water where I want)

Can you post the photo again without the green circle, and ideally another photo taken from as far to the left as you can go (as you face the building)
Is the window and black gutter to the left yours?1 -
Yes the window and gutter is mine. We only got the gutter cleaned around Sep Oct 2023. The Brick repointer chap did mention there was a lot of damp they could see on the area of concern which is one the reasons maybe why water was getting in as the sun doesn't shine on this side. They even put a water repellent layer on after repointing as well.
I don't think it's the roof tbh, as it was fine after the first repointing attempt.

Could be a missing cavity tray if it's a cavity wall.
How old is the property?0 -
built in 2004 so about 20 years old. weird it only started to have issues last year, you would hope the oldish builds would be better quality, with the mortar degrading so quickly I am not sure, since we had it repointed and it was ok for 5 months"It is prudent when shopping for something important, not to limit yourself to Pound land/Estate Agents"

Looking at the left facing the photo the arch of white trim shows discoloration.
Also the brickwork on that side. Very much like damp.
Odd to have it in that one area only.
The gutter runs against that wall. Is there a barrier between the end of the gutter and the wall?
I'd have thought the person clearing it may have noticed but I didn't when one end of mine seemed to have erroded the rendering letting rainwater soak into the brick appearing eventually inside.
Also the lovely arch over being discoloured, is all secure behind?
It may be something tiny but with the volume/months of rain we've had it's had it's own way.I can rise and shine - just not at the same time!

There's a good chance there's an issue with the cavity tray.
I'll try and find a picture to explain it better.0 -

Weird if it is the cavity tray that would fail, I mean i can understand mortar failing, but a bit of metal/plastic?"It is prudent when shopping for something important, not to limit yourself to Pound land/Estate Agents"
