Grrr Lloyds TSB

Recently, or should that be FINALLY paid off student loan in full after about 4 years of saving every penny. Student Loans people advised me to call bank to authorise payment coming out. I did, but Lloyds said I needen't have bothered, everything would be OK. Student Loans people called me back next day saying transaction been declined. I had a stop on my account... Then spent 20 minutes on Lloyds premium line number to get stop lifted and also had 2 day's worth of interest extra to pay on loan. Is it unreasonable to ask Lloyds to pay this for me. I was SOOOO angry.
"It's not easy being me...!"
