Has your gas pressure been checked?

You might also check that the coals are installed correctly - much of the heat output will be radiant, so the coals have to glow. If they aren't glowing, you won't get very much heat.
On installation it was yeah, i'd need the sheet infront of me, but i seem to recall seeing '20mbar' when it was tested during install.

Did not know that about the coals. Do the logs and coals, flakes etc go in set positions? or freehand?
Normally they should go in set positions. Should be instructions/diagrams in the manual.

Yes the logs/stones should be in the right positions.
I don't know about the heat expulsion.
My old gas fires used to really chuck it out but had a vent that would send the heat out into the room.

I can rise and shine - just not at the same time!

viral kindness .....kindness is contageous pass it on

The only normal people you know are the ones you don’t know very well

  • Have raised it with the fitter again, they've agreed to get someone from DRU to come take a look. Hopefully sortable!
