Did not know that about the coals. Do the logs and coals, flakes etc go in set positions? or freehand?1 -
Yes the logs/stones should be in the right positions.
I don't know about the heat expulsion.
My old gas fires used to really chuck it out but had a vent that would send the heat out into the room.I can rise and shine - just not at the same time!
