Refund for a flight has been given to someone else

Hi
This has been going on now for a year (takes two months for the airline in question) to respond to every email of mine. Basically i paid for flights and hotel via a travel website (Love Holidays). The outbound flight changed and i was allowed a refund. This is all fine. However I could not submit the refund to the airlines portal because it is a Spanish company and for some reason didnt accept my SWIFT code to my bank, therefore i couldn't submit my refund. After weeks of trying to get hold of someone the airline said they had paid this to me. They hadnt its gone to someone else. I tried Love Holidays (as naturally thought it would be them since they would have deposited the funds i paid them to Vueling) . Loveholidays maintained they hadnt received the refund , however they would not provide me with a letter to state this. The airline had asked me for this proof. So i'm in a stale mate - i haven't received my refund and no one is helping. Any thoughts of how to proceed?

How did you pay for the flight?1

The refund is £352.64

I paid via Loveholidays for both the flight and hotel.1

Ordinarily if you book via an agent it will go back via the agent. Many budget agencies will charge you for the privilege too.
Who do Vueling state they have paid?0 -
Loveholidays have stated it is nothing to do with them now as I had paid them, they had paid Vueling, so bizarrly its my liability to get the money back from Vueling
Vueling state they have paid a Gary Owens - who I have no knowledge of - as i couldnt input my bank details as Vueling's refund portal didnt work0 -
ah i paid with a credit card , there were three installments in total
i paid £600 deposit for the holiday then a further £2000 and then a further £30000 -
Ordinarily the refund would go back to the card used to pay, which in this case would be a LoveHolidays corporate card. Wonder if there's a Gary Owens there?
Not sure why you didn't go back to LoveHolidays to sort the refund. Did the holiday ho ahead? Who arranged and paid for alternate flights?1 -
Apparently because I manually clicked Ithe refund with Vueling I defaulted any contact with love holidays
the holiday did go ahead and we flew with ba
Love holidays have said Gary Owen’s does not work for them0
