DMP for £60k worth of debt...ready to tackle this!

Hi,

As mentioned previously, I won my IR complaint with Novuna (£25k loan) and Lendable (£1k loan).

Updraft declined IR (£10k loan). Ombudsman has also declined IR. Very strange as this loan was the 2nd loan I took: 1st Novuna, 2nd Updraft, 3rd Lendable. So updraft being in the middle of these.

Ombudsman has said this was affordable from the details Updraft had from my credit file at the time…The Novuna and updraft were taken fairly close together so it wouldn’t have been on file when checked but surely Updraft would have seen the deposit of the 25k loan from Open Banking? They have given me until 6th June to appeal the decision.

“ But if you decide that you don't accept what I’ve said – and want an Ombudsman to make a final decision on your complaint – you must provide any further evidence or representations by 6 June 2025.”

Where can I go from here? Is it worth letting an Ombudsman make a final decision?

13 months on and Updraft still haven’t defaulted me and the loan has been with ACI for around 7 months. If it’s not worth letting Ombudsman make the final decision is it worth going down the asking for the debt to be defaulted at the 6 month missed payment date under CCA?
