Hi all
We recently got a mortgage with Halifax and they use an underwriter called Arc for legal expenses who I have found to be horrendous and decided to look at the reviews and they are worse than I could imagine. So wanting to switch to the best possible company for all 3 of the below. Please can anyone recommend anyone else?
They also use Allianz for their emergency cover who by the reviews are also very poor.
They use Lloyds Bank of building and contents who are decent.
But we need an company who have a good underwriter for all 3
Ie Building and contents, emergency cover and legal expenses.
Anyone help please?
Thanks all

a lot of reviews will be negative IE refused claims, didn't pay what was expected
you need to look at what each policy provides and whether it meets your needs.
if your buying the right level of cover your experience will be vastly different to somebody who has under insured1 -

The problem with LE cover is there is really only Arc and DAS in the market for brokers or insurers that dont want to write their own. So really comes down to if you like DAS or if you are going to limit yourself to the likes of UK Insurance who is the brand neutral name behind Direct Line, Churchill, Privilege etc.
If you are picky you may want to stick with a traditional broker who'll allow you the choice of who each of the components are placed with but expect to pay a price for it0
