Morning everyone
Cold and cloudy here - it looks like it's rained through the night. It's forecast to be down to -1 tonight - I'm wishing I hadn't planted my little sweet peas outside.
Yesterday was day 2 of First Aid - that's that sorted for another 3 years. It was quite enjoyable - nice man doing it and a good chatty group.
This morning I'll go down to mam and dads to do his banking before work. Speech therapist's visit was good - he can have less thickener in his drinks and mashed food. And chocolate as long as it's thin, so he's happy!
I was quite surprised to get a doctors appointment on Wednesday - she prescribed steroid cream so hopefully that will help, it's so hard not to scratch.
I'm getting my hair cut tomorrow, I'm another who looks a mess if it goes more than 7 weeks.
Hope everyone has a good day today x12 -
Hello all, brr another cold day. I think I did a bit too much when I helped move some shopping from the front door to the kitchen yesterday and I'm a bit sore. Today I have a load in the wm which I'll hang out, not sure if it will dry but it will certainly have a blow in the wind. I also need to iron a pair of trousers ready to wear for my scans tomorrow as they have no metal in them. I have an MRI which will take up most of the day on Monday, I wonder if they'll do B & B, might as well I'm spending half my time there ! Then it will be feet up for the afternoon.
Hope everyone is feeling more upbeat today and the cream works dp1
Take care all

Hi everyone,
Good luck with the tests Nanny.
Oh dear Gers you have been having a bad few days.
Allie, good news.
Ruby, glad little dog's teeth are better.
Izzy, feel better soon. Esben's antibiotics for his tonsillitis are taking a while.
We looked after Nate again yesterday and had a good day with him, he loves being outside but it was really chilly.
We then drove up to North Yorkshire, got here about 11.30. We're pleasantly surprised that the problem we had a couple of weeks ago don't seem evident. We were sure we'd have to treat a water damaged ceiling but it's ok.
Friends are coming this morning so we'll probably go out for lunch. We'll have to because we didn't bring food with us
.
Have a good day.

Afternoon all, it's clouding over a bit now but I had a walk this morning when it was nice and sunny.Sorry some of you are feeling low & hope you feel better soon.I had a haircut on Monday and it's a lot shorter than usual but will need cutting more often - 6 weeks he said
The trouble is I can't style/blow dry it as well as when it was longer. I've been washing it everyday to get more used to it
Taff you make me tired just reading about your garden exploitsEnjoy Yorkshire Snoozer.Tea is either ham shanks or cook a chicken, decisions, decisions. Probably not the chicken as that will take too long once we get back from DS2s after dropping DGS off.Good luck with your tests Nan.Ooh Allie, hope you get a bit more taste now.Take care all:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'.
