Scottish Power
Hello everyone.
Sorry I haven't been here for a few years.
I have tried to post this via https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=uk.co.scottishpower.
I suspect what I wrote will not be viewable.
I wrote this:
Scottish Power is dreadful. I closed my account one month ago.
They owe me over £1,500. I should have received my money back within 14 days. One month later and I have not received that money.
I have tried to contact them via email, voice calls and online chat. They do not answer me. I want my money back. Scottish Power have affectedly stolen over £1,500 from me. I will be making complains about them.

Suppliers have 6 weeks to produce a final account.0

where does the £1,500 figure come from? Is it based on your final bill based on your actual closing meter readings - or is it just an assumption?0

It contains this: 'We'll aim to refund you within 14 days of this statement. If you don't receive it, please call us'.
I should have received my payment before 10th April 2024.
It is impossible to contact this company. Email doesn't work, phone calls aren't answered and their text chat service dies.0 -

Your final electricity statement for: 26 March 2024 - 26 March 2024
Amount due for refund £264.45 We'll aim to refund you within 14 days of this statement. If you don't receive it, please call us
Your final gas statement for: 19 March 2024 - 26 March 2024
Amount due for refund £1,251.44 We'll aim to refund your credit within 14 days
I have had this nonsense from other gas and electricity companies.
It seems quite common for them to sit on money longer than they should.
£1,515.89
They would be acting faster and harder if I owed them money,
This is VERY poor service from them.

Yes, horrible company - only ended up there when they took over Ebico accounts after Ofgem forced them to close their single rate tier and the business no longer worked - but threatened them with the EU bureau of consumer rights and they corrected the matter in an amazingly short time - alas that no longer works.0
