'Reasonable time' for repair of microwave?

How long is a reasonable time for Panasonic to organise the repair of our microwave combination oven?
Timeline:
It was delivered 22 Feb. After a few times of light use the fan started making an alarmingly loud noise.
This was reported to Panasonic on 11 April.
On 17 April we had an email saying their authorised service centre would get in touch.
They didn't, so on 23 April I phoned them. They only come to our area on Tuesdays so will come to collect on Tuesday 30 April to take it away and diagnose and see if it can be fixed.
The earliest we will get it back is 7 May.
That means it's a minimum of 26 days to organise the repair - is that a reasonable time? Reasonable time for repair isn't defined in the Consumer Rights Act.
It is causing us significant inconvenience to be without it for so long.
We've asked for a refund/replacement but they've said no.
We've asked for a refund/replacement but they've said no.
The repairer is about 1.5 hours travel away so I can't help but think it's costing more that it's worth to get it repaired.
Any thoughts/advice please\?

I assume your purchased the item directly from Panasonic.Consumer Rights Act 2015 Section 23 (2) also states the repair/replacement should be without significant inconvenience to the consumer.I would suggest you allow Panasonic to collect the item on 30 April and diagnose the issue. If they can have the item repaired and back with you within one month of your first reporting the issue (ie. 11 May) then I would say this is reasonable. If they cannot commit to this then I would be looking for a refund/replacement.
