I think you are getting a bit mixed up yet again; the argument isn't about the signage size at all it's about your cohorts breaking the rules/regulations which is a bit thick isn't it when you are always trying to impose your own made up rules for nothing more than financial gain!

More importantly, advertising consent is required for the installation of signs greater than 0.3m2. Not having it is a criminal offence, but only the council can pursue it. Retrospective planning permission for the cameras is permitted, but retrospective advertising consent for signs is not.
I suggest you investigate the ad-consent aspect then complain to the landowner, the council planning department, and your MP if it has not been granted.
Your neighbours should do the same, separately. A number of complaints will have more effect than one complaint with a number of signatures.
It is written CONSENT they need under the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 section 222 + 2007 section 225 amendment for permission to erect advertising signs.
Consent can not be retrospectively given and conspiracy with the advertiser to do so is misconduct in public office.
Failure to obtain consent is a criminal offence and failure to enforce the criminal offence is also misconduct in public office.
I am also looking into the consent of filming aspect of it, because some of the properties back gardens will definetely be filmed. As I undertsand the cameras have a wide angle of range. As I understand, you consent to be filmed under their flimsy contracts when you enter the land, by car or foot but we will not be doing so.

Interesting posts here thank you.
I recently received a Parking Charge Notice in the following circumstances:
I had parked on private land managed by the company. there are tow parts to the car park one on each side of the road. here I had parked only allowed payment by phone and I had no signal. I therefore went across the road to the other car park where I was able to pay by cash. Cost for the day was £5:20 I paid £5:50 (they do not give change).
The signs re Terms and conditions are in place one term being to enter the vehicle registered number accurately. Another term is that 5 minute only are allowed to pay the parking fee. In my rush I entered my vehicle number incorrectly albeit the number I had entered was so similar to the correct number that there could be no doubt that the ticket displayed was for that vehicle. I was issued with a ticket saying the terms and condition of the "contract" had been broken. I consider this to be unfair and therefore appealed to the management company Excel Parking Ltd. The appeal was rejected. I have seen the advice re planning for ANPR and signs that I am exploring. I have also emailed the customer services department of the council asking that the Parking Notice be discharged. I am minded to follow this to the enth degree and if necessary go to Court relying on the authority of Excel Parking Ltd v Wilkinson and the Consumer Rights Act 2015. An advice would be welcome.0 -

Just ignore Excel.Ignore the £170 threatograms next year. The case won't 'escalate' to a worse stage; it'll move on to a proper dispute resolution (court claim) which is exactly what you want.
Tell them if you move house.
Come back if ever you get a LBC (see the FOURTH then the SECOND posts of the NEWBIES FAQS thread, read them in that order).
That's all.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
