NMLC hasn't posted for a while, hope she and her family are all right.
I've just put a towel load in the wm, I might get them dry outside.
Sorry to hear you've got a rash dp1, strange place isn't it, hope you manage to get it sorted.
Hope everyone has a good day, take care folks.

Good morning all
Thank you for starting us off ScarletRibbons
Repotted a couple of plants yesterday but it was so cold outside. Today looks better so maybe I can achieve a bit more.
Take care

Morning All
It was lovely and bright this morning but has got darker and there are a few spots of rain so I've brought the washing back in, it can stay on the pulley today. We've had a sunny week so far but there's still a bit of a nip in the air.
It's been a busy week with work and other things to do, at least it's Thursday and nearer the weekend. I have a haircut tonight, should have had my eyebrows done yesterday but the girl was poorly so that's now next week.
The little one came for another visit to school yesterday and seemed happy, I took a sneaky peek out of the window at playtime to see what she was up to - she was eating!
Hope the doldrums lift Gers.
We have quite a few children with a rash at school dp1, the docs all say it's viral. Hope you get sorted.
Hope NMLC is ok.
Must dash, there are roadworks nearby that can take a while to get through. Take care. XX12 -
Thanks for the start ScarletRibbons.
Gers - be easy on yourself and hope today is more positive. I often have days like that!SilverOldie - the wind yesterday was cold!
I'm working for a few hours this morning doing some repetitive admin but I like it as it suits my brain to do structured things! Some craft work hopefully this afternoon , yesterday I couldn’t settle to one thing so felt like I didn’t achieve very much. Did manage to declutter lots of £££ for van insurance, tax and breakdown cover…..it’s an expensive month!Have a good day all

Morning folks and thanks SCARLET. Today has started off with grey sky and evidence of overnight drizzle but there is a bit of brightness emerging over the moors so I am living in hope!
GERS I think most of us are feeling like you just now. Day after day of never ending miserable weather doesn't help. I'm sure if, and when, the weather warms up we will start to feel chirpier. SNOOZER I hope you have packed your winter woollies you will need them.
We enjoyed our bus trip to Skipton yesterday but of course there was that ever present nithering wind present. The sun appeared just as we were heading back for the bus and it felt warmer for it. Apart from our lunch the only spending I did was in Sue Ryder where I spotted a brand new Crew Clothing sweater for £4 with my name on it!
Today I must catch up on a few indoor chores and if it warms up a bit I might venture into the front garden, look at it in despair, then retreat back indoors again.
Have a good day folks if you can and ((HUGS)) for our poorlies, poorly loved ones, sad or lonely. Take care all and be safe xx"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"11 -
Morning allI agree, this weather doesn't improve the mood. Nothing going on here today apart from a bit more housework and awaiting the call from payroll which, if I don't hear by lunchtime, I'll chase up. At least the housework will keep me warm and I'll not be tempted to put the heating on until later!Have a good day everyone.11

Pourimg with rain here yet again 🙄 and very cold we lit the fire last night and will probably do the same tonight it’s like winter and I’m sure we are all fed up with it, roll on our holiday in the Greek Islands at least there will be sun and heat there !Off to work today and collect Rob we are in the cafe today which will at least be warmer and we can do some baking which he loves.
Dinner tonight will he hot dogs in buns with corn on the cob, dd is so working late shift so just OH and I here for dinner.
Have good days all and take care xx11 -
Morning all and thanks for the start @ScarletRibbons x
Cold here too and I’m out in London tonight for my ex-bosses retirement party. I’m leaving early and going straight from work so feel a bit overdressed!! The alternative was to go home, past the station, get changed and walk back up which would mean getting there around 7pm.
DH was up at 3.15am to go to Wales with his buddies on a camping trip. Rather them than me. He is still looking for work and is becoming a bit despondent so I’m hoping some time away with his friends will help. We are seriously considering selling the house, downsizing and taking early retirement.
Hope you feel brighter today @Gers, not like you to be low x
Hugs to all our poorly folk xx

Morning all. The weather's no better/warmer here.
Made a last minute decision yesterday to get my hair cut and managed to get an appointment for this morning, so pleased about that.
I picked up some golden beetroot from the Larder yesterday; something I've never cooked before. I plan to roast it off and then drizzle with olive oil and crumbled feta to have with some chicken so I hope it tastes ok. Have also found a nice sounding salad recipe for it online but it involves puy lentils, which are not my cup of tea!
Hope everyone's day goes well.12
