How Strictly Worded Does a Pre-Court Letter Have to Be

We have been conned into accepting an offer of settlement (The Floor Room), whereupon the company has reneged on its agreement, citing their parent firm (Carpetright) having been put into administration. In order to accept their offer of settlement, TFR said we had to state on our MCOL form, that the case was now closed. Is there any way of re-opening the case, given that it was closed under false pretences?0

So there are now three threads on this forum - two others on the Consumer Rights board - all about this one carpet issue.
Perhaps all three threads should be merged into one, and that one thread should remain on the Consumer Rights board.2 -

This is a totally separate issue to the other threads where people are not going to be getting the goods ordered. As this relates to a purchase in Feb & a court case in relation to a issue with this.
Merging will only cause confusion 👍Life in the slow lane0 -

I.e. all the three threads I mentioned were all about this one carpet purchase and the difficulties the OP has had in getting the matter resolved.0 -
