Hi,
Received an email from JL saying that for online purchases we would have to enter an email address as well as the OTP sent.
They will be using biometrics to analyse how I have entered my email addess ( which doesnt need to be the one registered with the card ) to authenticate.
Have you heard of this before ? How will this work ? e.g. if I use a backspace for a typo does this fail the authentication ?

It might use your typing cadence i.e. the rhythm and speed at which you type. Machines will 'type' at a consist speed, very much faster than any human can reliably type. A backspace is more likely to indicate that you are a human, and so it is more likely will pass the test.The comments I post are my personal opinion.
