in Cutting tax
Hi, I was hoping someone might be able to please help.
My daughter left her previous job on the 6 March, she was meant to be have been paid her final salary on the 15 March but this was incorrect when paid, so another pay was made on the 15 April to correct the error. She has logged onto the payroll site that provides her with copies of her payslips, P60`s etc and found she has been deleted from the system. She emailed payroll and asked for a copy of her 2024 - P60 and also her P45 which has still not been issued. They have said they are unable to provide this information and she has to go back to her previous employer.
The employer said 10 days ago they will ask payroll.
Was wondering if anyone could please offer any advice as to how she might be able to get her P60 and P45 as neither payroll or her previous employer seems to want to provide her with these.
Thank you so much x

Employers have until the 31st May to send employees their P60 for the tax year 2023/24 so hopefully it will come through by then.1

Normally you only get a P60 if employed at 5 April.
Has she checked her personal tax account to see what that shows?1 -
Thank you, didn`t know about the 31st May date for a P60.
There was nothing showing on her personal tax account showing at the weekend, I will get her to check again this evening, thank you.
Any ideas about her P45? thank you both for taking the time to reply0 -
Her previous company's payroll will have to issue the p45 & payslip for the last period. Request they email or post it to her1

Thank you so much for replying.
She emailed her previous company yet again on Thursday asking for these and received a reply within minutes, they have just fobbed her off again saying ``I did check the system yesterday and there was a p45 there for you but it was wrong so we have gone back to payroll to correct it``. The previous companies finance department that deal with wages are blaming payroll and when she contacted payroll they said it is the actual finance department who deal with this! We don`t know how much work is involved in calculating either of these documents, but I would think that its all done by computers and is based on her earnings, but they seem to be making it a really big task! Thank you0
