Quick update, successfully obtained a small allocation of the gilt at a small discount (£15,087 nominal at a cost of £15,000).
Bids were made for £ 12 Billion against £3 Billion issued. Appears small retail investors applications were met in full.
Currently trading at £100.29 to buy ( small premium ), be interesting to see how the price fares as and when B of E actually commences base rate cuts and how deep and frequent those cuts transpire to be.
1st partial interest payment scheduled for 22 July, then every 6 months thereafter.
