Santander Edge saving account interest

I opened my Santander Edge Saver on 24/3/24 and put £4k in immediately. I expected my first month interest today but so far there has been nothing.
However, I paid the money in directly to the saving account from non-Santander accounts rather than move it into my Edge current account first and then move it into the saver. Could it be that I'm not entitled to the interest for this reason?
If so, is it as simple as transferring the money out of Santander, then into Santander's current account and THEN into the Edge account?

Yes, my monthiversary is the 17th and it's always very late that day or the next day. I didn't use the Edge c/a to move the cash into the saver

I've still not had anything. Opened it on 24/3 also. I chatted them and they said it may be done today but not show until tomorrow. I'll be contacting them again if there's nothing tomorrow morning.0

Don't forget to move the interest elsewhere, any balance over the £4000 doesn't accrue interest.1

£4k accrues 7% interest, but nothing above it so best to move out the interest every month.Nath4n said:
