PDSA-Pet insurance

They say that fools are not sown, they are born, and yes, it is true. Even though I am 60 years old, I was fooled by advertisements that said that the best insurance is the one that pays as much as 98% of the claim amount. We pay, pay for, etc., but it is not written anywhere. We don't pay at all. In addition, we are looking for fools who will believe in our honesty, reliability of assurances, etc. In addition, we collect insurance premiums, and then, in the event of damage, we look for all available options to deny compensation.
Moreover, during the duration of the concluded insurance, we unilaterally make changes to the content of the insurance. Either way, we are transparent and honest. If you don't believe this, use your insurance and attach copies of the claim to confirm its accuracy. Let's compare experiences. What do you think?

I have previuosyl insured with NCL, Tesco and Petplan. I have never had aproblem with any of them.
I knbew what cover ia had from reading the policy document before insuring. ANy claims were paid promptly, with no problems.
Problems arise when people do not read the policy document and make assumptions as to what they can claim for.2 -
Yes, you are right, but the problem is that we are talking about amounts in the range of £1,100-£1,300, and in the general terms and conditions, there is no mention of this condition, which even the insurer admits to. The difficulty occurs when amounts for surgical procedures appear, etc. Then we change the insurance conditions, and then they write that no because it's not, and that's it.Type your comment0

What is your point? I am 66, read the terms of my pet insurers, and have never had a problems with a claim. But other than the fact it appears you are saying that you didn't read the terms, you weren't therefore covered, and didn't get paid, what are you trying to prove? What happened to you, whatever the reason for it, is not going to be everyone's experience.0

Unfortunately, I cannot send documents to confirm my words. But if you start the conversation this way, I recommend this article:
It makes you think; it doesn't persuade anyone to do anything.
Pet insurance: responsible planning or total fraud?

First, that article is American based.
What that article talks about is all explained on the policy document of any pet insurance I have investigated.Pre existing conditions are not usually covered. But some companies will cover them under certain, explained, conditions.Routine care such as vaccinations, flea treatments, neutering etc are not covere
Pregnancy is not normally covered.Preventative treatment is not coveted.
Any excess and/ or co payment is explained is normal and should be consider before buying.
The limit of cover depends on the policy you take out
There is usually a section entitled “ what we do not cover” which will details it all.You state PDSA in the headline. What exactly are you referring to.?What are your experiences.?
As far as I am concerned that article is a lot of nothing as far as my experience of pet insurance, or any innsuranc.
You get what you pay for and it is up to you make sure you know what is covered.0
