Best way to pay off Overdraft?
Comments
-
Is the overdraft your only debt? A loan of a small amount would seem silly as generally APRs on loans for smaller amounts are higher.
However if you're already paying out on credit cards/loans/finance why not consolidate everything that way?
Or consider re-mortgage option to clear debts.0 -
Go frugal! Seriously, if you cut out spends on coffees and lunches and take your own, you could easily save 20 quid a week. If you just buy what you need rather than what you want each week you could save yourself a small fortune.
Using cash rather than cards makes each purchase seem more real somehow and if you can factor in a 'no spend weekend', you'll be amazed at the amount of money saved.
Each time you find a 50p in your change, put into an old-fashioned money box and watch it grow. Before too long you'll be getting as much (if not more) pleasure from becoming an anti-consumerist as you did from buying stuff.
Its a mind set. Just gradually re educate yourself. You can be happy without validating yourself through what you own.0
