Autotrader - excluding/blocking Cinch
I’m currently looking for a replacement car and want to be able to view given the plethora of options (and Covid spec cars). When I search on Autotrader the first couple of pages are cars from Cinch available with a mile (because they’ll deliver to my local WBAC site) which leaves me trawling for the non-Cinch cars that are physically available to view.
Any suggestions on how to exclude/block these ?

They are annoying but it's only a couple of pages worth at most.

You can put -cinch in the keywords box and it should remove them so it can be helpful for saved searches but a bit of a pain having to put in each time when doing manual searches. I don't know why Autotrader allow Cinch to distort the distance results the way they do as it's irritating it keep showing cars that are not local.4

I wonder if it's the same reason they blocked a lot of the search features a long time ago? Guaranteed every Friday evening scammers wouldlist cars a LOT cheaper than everything else, often with the same pictures and contact details as main dealers but in the advert it said
contact via email or by a mobile number. These were very easy to find and report in bulk but then they suddenly prevented the search
option that I used and then blocked google from caching the pages so I could use that to search instead of their own..
All blocked which seemed a strange thing to do, block ways to report scammers? Did not make sense?Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
Also add -carsa to the list very annoying and cars that claim to be within ten miles are hundreds of miles away0

Thank you "Johnmcl7" - brilliant tip....
Cinch, Carsa etc were driving me mad with unwanted ads. I also tried with other tags i.e. -white and no white cars are displayed. This has made my searches much more relevant. Thank you.
