Edf gas smart reader error?

I’m not sure what is going on with my gas bill. Has anyone experienced a discrepancy between the daily usages and the actual meter reading. Apparently according to the readings I used 3081 kWh gas in 2 weeks in march?!? In the energy hub it says I used 1878 kWh in the whole month.
all I read online is how accurate smart meters are and there is not much that can be done.
just wondered if anyone has similar experiences before I contact them

Am i missing something, could I possibly use 3000 kWh in 2 weeks? Semi 3 bed bungalow

Has this occurred since the billing system migration? I have heard of some imperial/metric mix-ups occurring, which will considerably inflate the kWh reading. What does it give the meter readings in, before conversion to kWh, on the bill?

Just had a look, it looks like it has been in m3 as far as my bills go back on app

Are you reading the meter, or the display (IHD)?

They both have the same reading. I’m trying to pinpoint exactly when the meter jumped, but cannot find it.
in the app I can see the amount used each day. My smart reader is set to take readings every 30 mins, will EDF have these? I am waiting to hear back from them

They don't take a meter reading every 30 minutes. Once every 24 hours they pull the data that has recorded your use in kWh for each 30 minute block.

I’ve just logged on to my EDF app to make my monthly “prepayment smart meter” reading and both gas and electricity are showing as 0.00 balance!  Which I know isn’t true. 

What’s going on with edf at the moment?
