DRO application

Hi Guys. Really need some advice.  After a long journey trying to get help with debt, my debt application was finally sent to an approved intermediary on 22nd March. My debt advisor said tge approved intermediary from CMA would contact me.
My debt advisor then contacted me on 8th April asking to clarify my full name? The said Starling did not want to cooperate with approved intermediary unless i was on the phone call aswell. Debt advisor asked me to provide an account number for starling Bank as a Bounce Back Loan [about £4, 200 remained outstanding] and was included in DRO. I Provided that information on the 8th April.  No contact from anyone since then.
It's such an agonising wait. How long is the application process or before they give a decision?
Then go a letter directly from starling Bank asking for my self assessment in the year I got the BBL. I will try to send that to starling by the end of the week. Very worried if this is all linked? Not worried about bbl paperwork as it's a straight forward.  Just worried with how long it's taking.

Tried to contact debt advisor last week but no response or email.
Any advice on what to do.

Thanks for your time.

Once your application is submitted to the Insolvency Service it is typically just a few days before it is approved.

How long your adviser takes in setting up the application we cannot guess. It depends a bit on the advisor and a lot on your situation and how easy it is for the advisor to get all the details. You need to make sure any tax owing is included, so are you up-to-date with tax filing?

All HMRC filings etc are in order. Business went down last year after mental health crisis.  Added to by my Business struggling in covid recovery and personal trauma.

Business was sole trader.  Although amount outstanding was low just over £4200. It has been a long hard year of slow health recovery since Business closure last year. All taxes owed paid. But told this BBL is now classed as personal loan and treated like such as Business closed.
It seems debt advisor was not approved intermediary. she mentioned CMA last conversation but I only now understand what that organisation is.
Just the mental stress and not knowing for this many weeks.  No communication from anyone. It's wrecking my anxiety no end.
Anywhere I can get advice or call ? Thanks for responding.

This was a small charity under CMA apparently. It seems that they sent my application to some approved intermediary at CMA I guess.  The issue is no forward contact details and no idea how long it takes.
Last night online I saw someone complain that citizens advice told them Dro time us 8 to 10 weeks! Just so stressed not knowing.  Is there something bigger nationwide happening or us it just back luck?
All DRO forms signed.  The Charity paid the £75 for my DRO in end of March. I think that's when they sent it to CMA.
Problem is I thought they were an approved intermediary.  I know come yo realise they were normal Debt advisor.  So confused.

I suggest you talk to Business Debtline https://businessdebtline.org/ who specialize in the self-employed, sole trader, small limited companies and cover business and personal debts, which are often interlinked

Thank you. I had a chat with then online. I was told that when my business folded. All debt became my personal debt and would have to treat loans like normal consumer loans. Assest were left over stock valued at £200. They said that is low and don't meet DRO ASSEST limits of £2000.
If what others online are saying about citizens advice informing DRO Application up to 10 weeks, wonder if it's affecting others. It seems like lucky dip. Some organisations seem to be very quick.  Trying not to let my anxiety take me to spiralling.
As Dro submitted  business debt line can't take over as it's " in progress ".😳
