Diesel Cars VW Audi

I have an Audi car that I purchased which subsequetly was found to break the omission rules etc etc. I keep getting emails about claiming compensation but keep being told VW Audi claims were settled and closed.

I received nothing, why cannot I claim now?

You can claim, the problem will be finding someone willing to take on your claim on a no win no fee basis. If you don't mind risking your own money to claim, you could try.

Because the claim is settled and closed?

There was a class action which is now closed.

If tyou had not signed up to the class action you are not included in that claim.

VW settled out of court to that claimant so no admittance of liability.

Any new claim would have to be started from scratch and you would need to find someone to take the case on.

Ask VW, clearly they think they were likely to be paying out.

It's a shame the government didn't step in like happened in the US, to make claims easier.
