New roof but can see daylight???

Options
We have had a new roof and it is finished today ( but the builder is coming back tomorrow to finish off a bit on next doors lower bit that you cant see in the photo).  Also we are due to pay him tomorrow so i need advice.  I went into the attic just now ( its boarded so i went to clean) and i noticed in one part you can see daylight?  Its raining outside now and it not leaking but i couldnt see daylight with our old roof.
when we tell him tomorrow i dont want to be fobbed off so can anyone advise me if this is ok ? (ive attached photos

Ventilation?  a roof has to breathe (or so our roofer told us)

It doesn't look like it's been attached properly, or wriggled out when tiles were put on.
I'd go down the route when he arrives and say it seems to have come away in the corner and could he take a look.
Have the ladder down ready for him so it's simple and convenient.
It doesn't seem more than a 5min job to straighten that out and if he doesn't check he won't know.

The membrane between the joists and the battens is rucked up.  It should be a simple job to fix, particularly as he has to go back on the roof anyway.
