Driving licence photo renewal

My driving licence is limited in duration by age (over 70) and medical condition so the date of my photograph isn't linked to the licence expiry.
How can I tell when my photograph expires and needs renewal?

When you stop looking like your photo.0

Have you used a photo that is also in your passport? I'd update the photo when you renew that.0

When you apply online and it rejects your application you know it is your photo they don't like (assuming you haven't made a mistake). Bigger Post Offices will do it all for you now including the photo and I had a new photocard licence within 3-4 days.0
