Bank transfer for car sold on ebay?

Safe - as long as I wait for the money to be in the account?
Should I ask for it day before so they can't do same day cancel?

I sold a car on Facebook recently, the buyer was coming a fair way to pick it up and on a Sunday. He'd only seen a few pictures.I got him to send me a deposit by bank transfer on the day, which arrived in my account immediately. He then came to collect a few hours later, paid the balance by bank transfer which again I received immediately, then he took the car .
    I don't know what same day cancel,is it even a thing ?

There is a scam where they claim their bank says the money has left their account but it will take a few hours to get to yours. They then show you a fake phone app that shows the money has been sent to you.

the money from a bank transfer can be recalled if the payment was made fraudulently for example if the buyer had managed to hack someone's account and paid you from that account
