Old Style Daily 22nd April

Hi everyone,

I've lost my child free day, Esben is off nursery with a high temperature and sore throat. Luckily he's been no trouble although we've watched a lot of Gabby's dollhouse. Unfortunately I think he'll be off tomorrow as well so I'll have both of them to look after.

Esther was moved up into an older room at nursery last week and came home with a bite mark on her cheek. These things happen but the concerning thing is that the staff didn't notice. We've noticed they've been struggling with staffing levels so I think Laura is going to look for a new nursery for her if she can find a place.

I roasted a duck for dinner last night and my stomach coped with that so I'm hoping that things are gradually on the up. I still haven't heard from the hospital though.
